Vishnuprayag Hydroelectric Project
Cargill’s Green Hercules Trading Limited has been one of the drivers of for conceiving and implementing this project, harnessing the waters of the river Alaknanda. The project is developed by Jaypee group and Cargill is the carbon credit owner, this 4X100 MW power Project is generating more than one million carbon credit every year, besides a very structured development of the community around the project.
