Pragati Vatika School
Cargill has adopted the Pragati Vatika School in Sushant Lok in Gurgaon. Pragati is an initiative taken by some residents of Gurgaon to educate the children from the marginal communities such as daily wage labors, construction workers, rickshaw puller etc. This started with a humble initiative of teaching these children by volunteers in a community park which has grown significantly into a three full fledged school with children in excess of 300.
Cargill not only participates in through monetary contribution but a large number of Cargill’s employee volunteer with the school. Three of Cargill employees have received Chairman’s award for their voluntary services to this project.
